Our Global Mission

Our Mission is Simple. To teach African languages and culture to the next generation. This mission is not just for African children but for all who appreciate the continent’s rich languages and culture.

Our program is exciting and entertaining at its core. From inception to date, our virtual class sizes have consistently grown and parents remain pleased because our instructors are good at what they do. Children enjoy learning their language with their peers and engage more this way. We have held virtual cooking classes making meatpies and puff puff. We have introduced Afro beats fitness and dance and we have hosted a myriad of speakers and entertainers.

Our classes are competing against extracurricular, academic and social commitments. As such, I recognize the importance of presenting these languages in a fun and relatable way. It was important to me that our classes reflect the kind of language class I would have looked forward to attending as a child. I look forward to adding more languages as we expand.

The positive feedback has been humbling thus far and shows that we are on the right track. To everyone who has signed up thus far and is yet to sign up – Daalu, Adupe, Asante!

    O. Nwokobia, USA

My kids have learnt alot of Igbo this period and enjoy having conversations amongst themselves in Igbo. I am grateful for the hard work, attention and care given to my kids throughout this program.

    N. Egwim, USA

The wonderful thing about the Yoruba classes is that the children learn so much more than just the language. They are immersed in the culture. From the history of the Yoruba people to how to cook the food. My 10 year old recently made puffpuff for the family.  The course structure keeps my kids engaged and they are having a lot of fun too. My family was impressed with the girls singing Iya Ni Wura on Mothers Day.
